New Tools for Merchants
Juspay launches AI discovery for brands. Juspay, a payment technology company, has launched Breeze Universal, enabling brand discovery across ChatGPT, Claude, marketplaces, and merchant platforms. Breeze Universal connects to a business’s existing stores and catalogs across platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom stores. It then makes the underlying product catalog available across the surfaces where customers shop, from AI platforms to mobile apps and websites.
Lightspeed and ShipStation partner to unify in-store and online fulfillment. Lightspeed Commerce, an ecommerce omnichannel platform, has integrated with ShipStation, a shipping and logistics software. The partnership brings ShipStation’s capabilities into the Lightspeed ecosystem. With fulfillment built directly into the point of sale, plus automated tax calculations, retailers can sell anywhere without added complexity, according to Lightspeed.
Alchemer launches an AI-native customer experience platform. Alchemer, an online survey and customer feedback tool, has announced Iris, an AI-native platform to turn feedback into action across surveys, reviews, reputation management, and other consumer channels. Alchemer says Iris can respond to reviews, trigger follow-ups, surface insights, and move work into the systems teams already use, while remaining human-first, with users deciding where and how AI is applied.
Flipkart app debuts microdrama vertical. Flipkart, India’s leading marketplace, has launched a microdrama vertical within its shopping app through partnerships with Pratilipi and Terribly Tiny Tales. The offering is integrated into Flipkart’s main ecommerce app under the Play section, which has housed the company’s content-led shopping discovery platform, Explore, along with a microdrama called Drama. The feed has featured content from TTT and Double Tap Films, Pratilipi’s in-house microdrama studio.
Ecommpay launches QR code payments. Ecommpay, a payments platform, has launched QR Code Payments, providing a single static code to display anywhere — on a printed sign, a receipt, or a web page. Customers can select payment amounts; merchants can set the page’s look and feel. A QR code can remain live until the merchant deactivates it.
Amazon adds protections on Alexa for Shopping. Amazon‘s U.S. customers can now ask Alexa for Shopping to verify whether a message, email, phone call, or text came from Amazon. The feature submits every communication to Amazon to take down bad actors and protect more consumers. Amazon launched an email address earlier this year to confirm whether a message is genuine. Shoppers can also use a dedicated verification form on Amazon’s customer service pages.
Sigmira to launch product customizer for WooCommerce merchants. Sigmira is launching its cloud-based platform for WooCommerce merchants selling personalized products. The new platform enables shoppers to personalize products directly in an ecommerce store and preview designs before ordering. Merchants can configure customization options and pricing and receive completed customer designs for production. Merchants continue to manage products and orders in WooCommerce, while Sigmira handles the customization. The platform can also support post-order workflow automation.
Shopline selects Splitit for card-linked installment payments. Shopline, an ecommerce platform, has selected Splitit as its card-linked installment partner. Through the partnership, Shopline will embed Splitit’s technology, enabling merchants to activate installment payments and consumers to pay over time using their existing cards. Merchants can activate Splitit with minimal implementation effort, per Shopline.
Anthropic releases AI agent blueprints for merchants. Anthropic is giving retailers blueprints to build shopping and merchant agents on Claude, as demand for conversational search tools expands ahead of the holiday shopping season. Retailers can use the blueprint to build an agent that suggests inventory, prices, and marketing campaigns. Shoppers can use the agents for suggestions and to add items to carts.
Bazaarvoice releases AI visibility package. Bazaarvoice, a platform for sourcing, displaying, and amplifying user-generated content, has launched an AI visibility package. The offering helps brands and retailers prepare UGC for AI search and shopping by making authentic customer content structured, accessible, and primed for AI platforms. Bazaarvoice has partnered with AI visibility measurement providers Bluefish, Evertune, and Profound to offer an independent measurement layer that tracks and scores how often brand content is cited in AI answers.
Flexport launches fulfillment services in Canada and the U.K. Flexport, a freight forwarder and logistics platform, has launched fulfillment services in Mississauga, Canada, and Manchester, England. Brands can now store inventory and fulfill orders in-market, while keeping the same platform, account team, and freight and customs relationships. Flexport can clear Canada and the U.K. customs directly; returns stay in the country.
Okta launches Auth0 identity suite for agent-led commerce. Okta, a tool for managing and securing user logins on apps and websites, has introduced Auth0 to help businesses drive growth without compromising security. Auth0 Identity Conversion Suite enables brands to secure their systems and verify customers across new commerce channels. The suite tracks prospects from their first visit through sign-up; teams can test sign-up and login flows simultaneously.
AfterShip debuts automated exception handling and returns. AfterShip, a post-purchase platform for branded customer experiences, has launched Intelligence, bringing agentic automation and predictive capabilities to post-purchase tracking, returns, and shipping. With AfterShip Intelligence, an AI agent built for post-purchase operations proactively identifies shipment glitches and then gathers relevant context, recommends resolutions, and executes tasks. According to AfterShip, every action is explainable and reviewable, with human approval required for financial or customer-facing decisions.
Listrak releases free email marketing audit for retailers. Listrak, an email marketing platform, has launched an audit tool to assess an email’s deliverability, accessibility, mobile optimization, content, and conversion setup. The free tool (no sign-up required) evaluates any marketing email against 30 high-performing tactics and practices.
Crosslist releases micro-budget testing for dropshippers. Crosslist, a tool to publish product listings across multiple marketplaces, has released a micro-budget testing method to help dropshippers validate potential sales channels before committing financial resources. The approach encourages sellers to allocate a small budget, list a controlled selection of products, and measure buyer behavior over 14 to 30 days. Crosslist says the process helps sellers identify early demand signals, reduce financial risk, and make data-driven decisions about expanding distribution.
WizCommerce launches CRM for wholesalers. WizCommerce, an AI-powered operational platform for distributors and manufacturers, has launched WizCRM. The new tool enables teams to manage accounts and contacts, track deals, log meetings and visits, assign tasks, create quotes, and convert them into ERP-synced orders. WizCRM also includes WizPilot, an AI sales assistant that can answer customer questions and complete tasks for the team.
