I’ve completed several short-term roles elsewhere, but G2 has truly been my professional anchor over the past ten years. Throughout this period, I’ve witnessed remarkable growth and exciting opportunities, alongside numerous challenges that necessitated adaptation and new operational strategies. Some changes stemmed from typical business cycles, while others were responses to global and geopolitical shifts beyond our control.
I began my journey as an intern in 2015, at a time when G2 was still a small business in Highland Park, IL. As I progressed, I embraced different roles, transitioned between teams, took on management responsibilities, and even left the company temporarily (I’m what we affectionately refer to as a ‘boomerang’ at G2).
If I were to encapsulate my decade-long journey in this field, it would be that the only constant is change. This continuous evolution has opened doors to new opportunities and consistently motivated me to grow and embrace fresh challenges.
Consequently, I’ve learned to adapt, stay agile, and embrace every new situation. Embracing the right mindset at the appropriate times has been essential in navigating change and harnessing the opportunities that come along with constant evolution.
